As you can see from the images above, my finished work spans a variety of styles. Some of my favorite works come to life with the client or recipient in mind. To create a work of art and then have a person express joy in its finished composition is a very much a delight.
A popular theme in my work since 2005 is a stylized Barbed Wire design. I have produced a variety of jewelry items in this "Barbed Wire" motif with warm reception. On my site you will find an entire category dedicated to this style.
Another favorite of mine is the use of rough gems and crystals, which may include partially faceted and polished surfaces, allowing the viewer a "window" into the stone. I find it interesting how light "plays" through the irregular gemstone surfaces in the rough and the contrast of the partial "windowed" surfaces.
One of my inspirations is the comparable way the low winter sun rays can pierce standing ice. In a similar gemstone use, and inspired by mans early technology, some of my work includes “points” (arrowheads) fashioned from a variety of remarkable gem materials.
