Just south of Dillon MT is a favorite fishing / camping lake for locals- Clark Canyon Reservoir. This was the route of the famed Lewis & Clark Expedition: “Corps of Discovery Expedition 1803-1806”; although this body of water was not impounded here during their travels they followed the river west to the of here towards Idaho.
