Looking east over Dillon from the volcanic hills locally know as the “M” that rises nearly 600 feet above the Beaverhead river valley, with 360 degree views that are fabulous. There actual is a “M” on the hillside; a tribute to the University of Montana Western umwestern.edu located in Dillon.
