I am a craftsman and designer that creates distinctive jewelry designs in the precious metals of silver and gold; often set with fine gem materials cut from rough or with finished and polished goods.

As you can see from the images above, my finished work spans a variety of styles. Some of my favorite works come to life with the client or recipient in mind. To create a work of art and then have a person express joy in its finished composition is a very much a delight.

A popular theme in my work since 2005 is a stylized Barbed Wire design. I have produced a variety of jewelry items in this "Barbed Wire" motif with warm reception. On my site you will find an entire category dedicated to this style.

Another favorite of mine is the use of rough gems and crystals, which may include partially faceted and polished surfaces, allowing the viewer a "window" into the stone. I find it interesting how light "plays" through the irregular gemstone surfaces in the rough and the contrast of the partial "windowed" surfaces.

One of my inspirations is the comparable way the low winter sun rays can pierce standing ice. In a similar gemstone use, and inspired by mans early technology, some of my work includes “points” (arrowheads) fashioned from a variety of remarkable gem materials.

Red Deer Pendant with Braided Leather

This line of jewelry incorporates quality gold craftsmanship with the understated touch of leather. Attention to detail is the goal.

Red Deer is a bold new design celebrating the splendor of some of the largest of the deer family. Also known as Wapiti or Elk in North America it is often admired with a spiritual reverence.

This elegant pendant has been hand-crafted in 14 karat gold, and weighs nearly 9/10 of a troy ounce. The graceful “antlers” of this necklace span over 2 1/2 inches. Channel set in this jewelry are 5 dazzling round brilliant diamonds. The diamonds are fine white and weigh over 0.50 carat. A round blue turquoise cabochon offers a gentle accent to this piece.

At the center of attention and displayed with elegance is a much sought-after elk ivory.
